Our Story
30+ Years of Experience
With more than 30 years of experience behind us, our journey began through Young Control Systems, an Australian business specialising in the manufacture, repair and support of pressurised cable protection equipment and temperature monitoring solutions for the telecommunications and broadcasting industries.
Young Control Systems continues to manufacture, repair and support its existing telecommunications and broadcasting equipment while expanding into autonomous grounds maintenance through YCS E-Crew Mowing. We are evolving and diversifying, not abandoning our existing operations.
For over two decades, our work has centred on technical expertise, reliability and supporting essential infrastructure. As industries evolve and traditional technologies gradually become obsolete, we recognise the importance of evolving alongside them. Rather than standing still, we're embracing new opportunities and applying our experience to the technologies of tomorrow.

Our next chapter began through international business connections and a shared interest in emerging technology.
During a business trip to Taiwan, Dylan Young and Michael Ho were exploring new technologies and business opportunities. Their experience helped open the door to autonomous mowing technology and its potential to transform large-scale grounds maintenance in Australia.
Recognising an opportunity to combine advanced equipment with practical Australian expertise, the idea behind YCS E-Crew Mowing began to take shape.
What started as an exploration of new technology has grown into a new direction for our business — one focused on sustainable mowing and professional grounds maintenance services.
